"Irish For A Day" Shot

Sun, Sep 18, 22

Ah St. Patrick’s day, it’s a magical holiday. Once a year in the middle of March, everyone gets out their green and BOOM – You’re Irish for a Day! While the Guinness and other Irish beers are popular choices – and rightfully so – no St. Patrick’s Day party would be complete without a signature shot!

This recipe will have you feeling Irish For a Day in no time, with our signature Irish Cream and just a hint of green peeking through. Very few ingredients are required, but we do suggest serving towards the beginning of the party, as this recipe calls for a steady hand, and maybe a little Luck O’ the Irish to achieve the desired layering effect.

Irish For A Day – Layered Shot

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz Midori
  • 1 oz Michael’s Irish Cream

Directions:

Add Kahlua to a tall shot glass. With a spoon tilted into the glass, slowly pour in the Midori. Allow the layer to settle, and use the same pouring technique with the Irish Cream. Cheers!

Did you achieve a successful layered shot? Maybe you had the green inside you all along! Tag us in your photos on Instagram & Twitter – We’d love to see your St. Paddy’s Day concoctions.
