Fresh Fruit Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cup frozen fruit (or a 10-ounce bag of unsweetened frozen fruit)
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 3 limes)
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur, or orange juice
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup (melt 1 part sugar into 1 part warm water)
- 2 cups ice water
- Fresh lime wedges
- Salt or sugar for garnish
Directions:
Add the first six ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Take each glass and wipe a wedge of lime around the rim. Dip the edges into a plate covered with salt or sugar and tap off excess. Pour the margaritas into each glass, and garnish with a wedge of lime. Cheers!
