TASTING NOTES: Deep purple in color, with explosive fruit on the nose and a peppery youthfulness to the palate. Velvety smooth mouth feel with flavors of black cherry followed by elegant notes of butter and caramel. Easy drinking with a spicy finish.
PRODUCTION NOTES: After harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and inoculated with strains of dry active yeast. The skins and juice are left in contract for approximately 6 days. After fermentation, the wine is racked twice for clarity and then matured in French oak casks for 45 days.
