Aromatically this wine is all about the Cabernet Sauvignon. It is very defined, expressive and opens with ripe, floral aromatics, red currants, cedar and dark purple plums. The Shiraz shines through in the palate which is quite rich and dense with an inky plummy juiciness. Serious tannins flow long to the finish and are quite earthy. For drinking now and over the next 10 years. Enjoy with thick cut, charry lamb chops, cooked rare, or serve alongside a platter of roasted vegetables: eggplant, corn, capsicum, zucchini and mushrooms.
